Millions Face Identity Theft Risk This Coming Year

25% of consumers do not yet shred their personal
documents despite the fact identity thieves could build
build enough personal information against them to
apply for credit in their name accordingly to a recent
survey by MyCallCredit.

Further as reported, women are more careful
about shredding documents than men, with 77%
of women saying they regularly shred personal
information, compared with 68% of men.

So, our tip for today, is shred your
personal banking and credit card statements
each month after scrutinizing them for
unauthorized purchases or suspect transactions.
